Thanks a Latte

So next week starts teacher appreciation week at school. I have so many cute projects that I can't wait to share. This card is a gift card holder that was made from a 6x6 card. I cut the coffee cup on the front at 3.25in from Wall Decore and More and then pop dotted it. The sentiment is from Pink by Design. For the inside I created the pocket for the gift card from the cup sleeve, soooo cute! The THANKS and A LATTE were created in my Gypsy using the Storybook Font. I used Martha Stewart glitter on the A LATTE in the teachers favorite color, it doesn't show well in the picture but it is purple. This was a fun card to make and I can't wait for my son to give it to his teacher!

A Snow White birthday

I made this card at the request of a friend. She asked if I could make something Disney and with Snow White. I love making girlie things... I used Happily Ever After cart, Snow White was cute at 4". I used some scrap paper for the background and ran it through the Cuttlebug for extra texture. I added some flower ribbon and used my I-Rock to put some bling on. The stamp is from Pink by Design. TFL!

All "Tangled" up!

Here are some more cupcakes wrappers I made. The theme to the party was Tangled, and the cake was done again by Cakes by an Angel.

Make a Wish

We had a b-day party this afternoon and I wanted to share the card I made. The background stamp is from Pink by Design, I am in LOVE with it! I embossed it with sparkle powder to give it some extra glam. The cupcake is from Rock Princess and was cut at 3" from some of my scrap paper.  This was a pretty simple card that I think came out really cute!

Wrestling shirts!

Myself and two other moms from the wrestling team thought it would be fun to make up some t-shirts to support our kids. The team is made up of mostly Marine Corps families so I wanted the shirts to reflect both the team and the Marine Corps. I used heat transfer vinyl from Expression Vinyl, it worked great and shipping was fast. All lettering was cut from Blackletter, the wrestlers are from Sports Mania and the eagle globe and anchor came from Stand and Salute, I has to weld the 2 images together to create the symbol. I can't wait to give the other moms their shirts tonight at practice!  TFL!

A "Wimpy" Birthday

A friend of mine asked her if I could make a Diary of a Wimpy Kid birthday card. I'm always up for a challenge, so here is my interpretation.... I used Car decals and Locker Talk. I took a piece of notebook paper and crumpled it up and distressed it with Tim Holtz ink.

Popcorn!!

I wanted to share some more cupcakes wrapper I made last week. They were for a little girls movie themed party. The cupcakes were made by Cakes by an Angel. TFL!

My Creative Time Challenge

This week for Throwback Thursday Emma has asked for a Cricut-less including a sketch. I always like these challenges as it makes pull out my stamps which I tend to neglect. For my project I used a Stamp from The Greeting Farm it is the Cheeky Beach.I colored her in with Prisma Colors and Gamsol. All of the paper is from DCWV Summer Dream stack. The sentiment is from Pink by Design Aloha set. TFL
