Thank Ewe..

So I am trying to rebuild my stash of on hand cards. Here are a few thank you cards I made while my youngest was napping. I used very little to no Cricut on these... The only cart that was used was Lacey Labels. I am trying to also use up the many paper scraps I have accumulated. The sheep stamp is Stampin Up and it was colored in with the water color pencils. For the 3rd card I used the LL cart for the rectangles and the stamp came from my LSS. TFL

Baby "sprinkle"

My good friend will be having a baby in May and I am giving her a baby sprinkle! A sprinkle is for a 2nd, 3rd ect.. child in case you didn't know what a sprinkle was. I know I hadn't heard the term before a friend told me..lol.. She loves monkeys and that is the theme they have gone with for the new baby's nursery. I wanted to make invites that matched the bedding and these were what I came up with.

The invites are a standard A2 size, the cream card stock is cut 1/4" smaller and then I used my corner chomper for the cloud corners. The monkey is cut from Create a Critter at 3.75" I only used the monkey's head, I also had to cut off the arm and reposition them on the invite.  The zebra paper is a strip if white card stock that I ran through my Cuttlebug the folder is from Sizzix and I don't have the name but it looks like zebra to me. All I did to it was color in the raised parts with black to really make it pop. I then added a banner with the new baby's name for a personal touch. The banner is from Carousel, I had to weld 2 of them together on my Gypsy and then trimmed off what I didn't need. the Banner was cut at 2.09". I printed off the poem and info on vellum and corner chomped just the bottom corners. I finished them off by adding a tiny flower and gem to the monkey and a touch of purple sparkle to the ears. TFL

Get well

This is just a simple card I put together for a friend who has been a little under the weather. I used the Wild Card cart for the band aid. I let my 3yr old help and he wanted it to be camo..lol.. It was cut at 5in, I did some minor inking around the edges and that was about it.  TFL

Rockin

I made these next projects for the rock star party we recently attended. I made the birthday boy a guitar banner to match his party theme. I also made him a rockin skull card. The card is a 6x6, the pattern paper is from the Boys Live to Rock stack and was cut at 5.75 x 5.75 and then I used some core'dinations paper ran it through my Cuttlebug and sanded it. The sull was cut at 3" and then pop dotted. All cuts were made from the Rock Princess Cart.

Angry Ballerina...

I had so much fun with this card! The stamp is Angry Ballerina from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I colored it in with my Pirsmacolor pencils and Gamsol. I pop dotted the ballerina for added dimension, inked the edges with light blue chalk ink. I then added some flowers and gems. The sentiment is also included with the stamp. TFL..

CD inserts

I have a good friend who's son is turning 7 on Sat, he will be having a rock themed party and is giving out Cd's for party favors. I jumped at the chance to make the inserts for the, it is something a little different than a card or scrap LO. I used my computer for the font and then stamped the skull with wings, inked the edges and added a touch of orange. I hope he and all the guests enjoy them.
