christmas cards!

I thought I would share that Christmas cards I made this year. I used Stampin Up stuff to make my cards. Simple and I enjoyed no machines and just using rubber, ink and paper!

demask inspired

I was asked to created some vinyl for a nursery. The mother semt me a picture of the baby's bedding and I tried to make it match as close as I could. I think it turned out so beautiful. The name measures 11.5in by 24in and the demask squares are 8x10in, the swirly things (don't know the name..lol) are 4x16in. I really love making these vinyl wall decals. I will be adding more to this project when I get the right color pink delivered. I can't wait to see the whole thing put together and on the wall.

Germs....

I had a request to make a vinyl decal for a bathroom, the costomer sent me a photo and asked if I could recreated a sign she had seen. This is what it looks like.. I took several fonts and adjusted sizes and lengths. It measures about 12" by 24". I think it turned out really cute and I am thinking of putting one up in our new house.

Reindeer food!

I love Christmas!! These fun little treats came out so darn cute! I ended up making about 60 of them for my 2 oldest boys to pass out to their classes. Almost everything was made  using my Cameo, and I took a little inspiation from Stampin up. We have given our kids reindeer food to throw on the lawn every year and I am so happy to be able to share it with others!

Gobble, Gobble

Gobble, gobble... wink, wink.. This turkey is SO funny!! I fell in love this this image the second I saw it in the Silhouette store and had to have it.. I made a few cards fpr thanksgiving with it and can't wait to do more with it next year. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving tomorrow. I have a FULL house of Marines coming over. I feel so blessed that I can provide a good home cooked meal for these guys, it is the least I can do for them for all the sacrifice they make for us. Thanks for looking and GOBBLE, GOBBLE..

Mnogrammed cards

I was asked to help with a give a way on facebook andthe lucky winner got 5 of these cards. These are the colors she chose. I really like the aqua and clue combination. I used my Cameo for these. I used a stock image that came with the softeare and ungrouped the circle for the monogramme. I used a font from my compter and grouped it into the smaller circle. I place the circles on a pop dot for some added dimension. I also ran the brown and aqua paper through the cuttle but for some texture.

Welcome baby

Some friends of mine just had a new baby.. I love babies.. I was asked if I could make some announcements for her (YAY). This is what I came up with. I used my Cameo for this project and the print and cut feature. I have to say now that I can do this I am in LOVE! I downloaded the flower pattern from the Silhouette store and juat duplicated it and put them together to create the boarders. I added in some decorative colored boarders and put them on a browm mat. I also added a touch of stickles to the flowers and a timy pink bow. I am so happy with how these turned out.

Late post.. OOPS

So I totally forgot to post this project and then my computer took a dump :( .. So I have to steal the hubby's to post. This was a bucket I made for a friends son for Halloween.. It was his first and she wanted his bucket to be special. We added a face and his name in vinyl. Such an easy project but it made the bucket just a little extra special. I can't remember the size everything was cut from but I made this one using my Cameo! I love having the freedom to cut anything. Hope you enjoy!

Boys

So I had a few people tell me I should share more layouts so I will try. This was a quick one I put together in about 10min. All the paper and coordinating itesms are from a line called Rough and Tough by Fancy Pants designs, I love this line it is SO cute. The only things I altered were the Rough and Tough in the corner, I added somecoloring to make it pop, I aslo added stickles to the journaling tag and to the arrows.

Happy Halloween!!

I hope everyone has a great Halloween!! My kids have been looking forward to trick or treating since the 1st of the month..lol... I have a fun post to share today, these are the treat bags I made for my 2 older boys. This is also my first big Cameo project. I must say I am liking my Cameo a bit more than my Cricut (gasp I know) and maybe it is just because it is shiny and new. Well anyways on to the post. I made skittle sticks for my oldest and closed them off with a tag and stuck on these cute "chubby"
Halloween characters, I LOVE Them! And them for my middle son I found premade treat bags at 25% off (score!) I had to use something other than candy, he isn't allowed tobring any in. I topped the bags off with a topper I found in the Silhouette store and stamped on the sentiment instead of using the one that came with the design. There are quite a few pics but I hope you enjoy!

Materials used:
  • Hello Kitty Greetings cart
  • pink glitter glue
  • orange glitter pen
  • white gel pen
  • Various cardstock (I don't have names, they were just in my stash)
  • Kitty cut at 3.25in

Cameo in the house!!

So my cameo arrived on Monday! I'm posting the pics a little late but I have been so busy playing with it... The Cameo is lighter and sleeker than my Cricut and it is making a very welcome addition to my crafting needs. This machine ROCKS! It can print and cut as well as import and cut your own SVGs which I an loving. Stay tuned for my first project using it (I need a name for it). But in the mean time here is what it looks like..

Ball invite

A co-worker of my husbands asked if I could make a USMC ball invite for his girlfriend. I gladly accepted! How cute is he... I was so happy with the end result of this card. I wanted to try and mimic the dress blues the Marines wear and I think it came across beautifully. I only used the cricut for one cut one the entire card, I welded 2 shapes together using my Gypsy to create the EGA.. I hope she likes it as much as I do.

Materials Used:
  • Black, blue, red and gold cardstock
  • USMC rub on
  • pop dots
  • Martha Stewart gold ink
  • Nestabilities

Texas Tech

I made this wreath for my little sis who is in her freshman year at Texas Tech. The wreath is made from the school colors. I used Varsity Letter for her name, it was cut from paper and a cereal box to give it some more weight. I aslo added black glitter around the letters for a bit of sparkle.
