Be Thankful blog hop.

I love the holiday season! It is a time for family, friends and togetherness. I have so much to be thankful for. A loving husband who supports and cares for his family more than any man I know, and I am lucky he chose me. He is currently deployed and we cannot wait until he is home. I am also very thankful to my friends and family, they have been such a life support, shoulder to cry on and a great group of people to laugh uncontrollably with.  And of course my three beautiful boys, they are my everything. I feel truly bleesed to have so many great people in my life.
For my project I decided to make a wreath. I thought it would be fun to incorporate something our family says to each other.

I took a 17" straw wreath and covered it with fall colored fabrics. I then added the cute little turkey from Create a Critter and the saying gobble gobble, which is what my family says to each other. It is our little tradition.

                                                       Who wants CANDY!!!

I am giving away the Thanksgiving seasonal cartrige and the Distressed Stripes embossing folder!!

I just became a follower! :o)

Our Thanksgiving tradition is to host a small intimate Thanksgiving dinner at our house. We love spending quality time with our Mom's and a couple of close friends. Thank at Christmas we visit both sides of the family, but our most fun tradition has become delivering meals to those who are homebound on Thanksgiving and Christmas - such a joy to make these sweet people smile!!!

aww, how cute, I love this! Your family saying "Gobble Gobble" is TOO CUTE!
Our traditions are to be sure and spend the whole day together, no one running off to do their "own" thing.. Its a very nice change of pace in our house.

Love this wreath, can;t wait to make one! Such a fun blog hop.......I'm a new follower too!
My family doesn't really have any traditions other than dinner at my parents house. The elderly couple across the street doesn't have any family so we've adopted them as part of ours, along with a friend my dad used to work with. It's always fun catching up with them and spending time with everybody. Anybody else who doesn't have a place to go on Thanksgiving is invited too.

This is a very wreath. I'd LOVE to know how you attached the fabric. I don't believe that we have a family tradition per se for Thanksgiving. Our family tradition that will start this year (lol) is to have the kiddos to make the centerpieces for the tables for our holidays.

Very Nice wreath and love the sentiment!! We live in a town that is mostly navy.navy bases! So we find a family that has no family to celebrate with and invite them to celebrate with us!! We have been doing this for a couple years now and it is so rewarding to see the gratitude they have!!!

I am a new follower and I just love your wreath..that was a lot of work to cut all those stips of fabric but well worth it! I keep a scrapbook of cards that my guests write each year of what they are thankful for..it's fun to look back through the years and see what everyone wrote.

I like your wreath it is great. I love that you included a special thought into your projects. One of the traditions in my family, now that my kids are teenagers, we purchase a new BOARD game to play. We tend to play for hours and it will be something that my kids will always remember. Thanks for sharing your beautiful wreath project. I love seasonal wreaths and this looks so nice! One of our family traditions is around foods, we never change our stuffing recipe and always have Green Bean Casserole. We also go around the table to tell everyone something we are thankful for before saying Grace.
