Hey Marines...

I am so excited to start making cards to send to my husband's unit I had to make one when my kids were asleep. I love the way it turned out. I used Old Olive from SU for the base and then used coordinating cardstock from a paper pack at my LSS. The star punch is EK Success. The stamp is from the Greeting Farm, I embossed and then colored her with inks, water and watercolor pencils. I inked up the edges and that was pretty much it. TFL

Halloween trifold

These trifold cards are so fun and easy to make. I decided to make some halloween cards for family this year... I am trying to use up some of my paper from last year, I went a little paper crazy..lol..  All I did was take a 12x12 peice of cardstock cut it at 5 1/2in  so you have a 5 1/2x12 peice of paper. I then scored at 2,4,8,10in did an accordian fold and then take the 2 middle folds and fold in opposite directions. I used a stamp from my LSS and the Martha Stewart drippy goo punch. TFL

Throwback Thursday challenge

I made this card for thr Throwback Thursday challenge over at My Creative Time with Emma. The challenge was to make a card "old school" and use NO machines. It is a great challenge and I have been using my Cricut and Gypsy for everything, so it was nice to pull out a stamp and my watercolor pencils. I used core'dinations paper on thre bottom and then a peice of purple cardstock for color. The green paper was from a stack I had left over from last Halloween. The stamp is from The Greeting Farm. Pink Stamper challenge

I just recieved 3 Birds on Parade in the mail last night and I have been itching to use it... My Pink Stamper is having a challenge where you need to use a bird... perfect! This is what I came up with. I used a stack I had from last Halloween (can't remember the name) and some paper scraps. I inked up the bottom edges of the bird to give it that all night trick or treating feel, put some stickles on the BOO and finished it off with a Happy Halloween stamp. TFL

Congrats

My very best friend and her hubby are moving into their first home!!! YAY!!! I made a quick card for them to say congrats. I used JBC for this and used my G so it was cut at 4.9in. TFL

Happy 18th

Happy Birthday Katie! That's my little sis and she turned 18 today. This is her card I made her. It was really easy. I only used my cricut to cut the 18 and the rest was my paper trimmer.
