I love Pinterest! You can find so much inspiration and ideas. I had a girl ask me if I could make something she saw on there, and of course I took her up as I love Pinterest projects! I used my Camo to do a print and cut instead of usuing actual maps and the name is done in vinyl. I put everything together in a floating frame and I thought it turned out beautiful!

Paper roses
I had a request to make some invitations with a matching guest book. These are for a surprise party and she really loves pink and girly things and roses. So this is what I came up with. The roses are all hand layered and curled. This project finally gave me the good excuse I needed to FINALLY go buy a Cinch..lol... I love it!! I can not wait to make more of these books and journals and scrapbooks... Oh the possibilities! I hope you like my card and book.

thinking of you
So I finally tried print and cut with the Cameo. It was really easy and I love how it added a bit of color pop to this card. I did add a slight white border to the butterfly, I was affraid that since it was so small it would rip but the Cameo cuts like butter! I embossed one corner with a Stampin up folder and added stickles to the middle of the flowers. I also embossed the sentiment with the new Stampin up scented powders, I used melon for this card. I smells great!

Courage.
I feel like I haven't paper crafted in FOREVER... so I am making it a pont to pull out the paper and glue and make some cards or layouts... Here is what I made today while I had some down time. I have been wanting to use this stamp since I recieved it and I am very happy with the way this card turned out. The stamp set is called Courage and is from Stampin Up. I added a little color using my Prisma colors and blending it with Gamsol. I used some red and blue paper to mate the image on and added some eyelets for a little extra detail. I will be sending this card along with some goodies to a family friend who is deployed right now. TFL

All you need is some cardstock, paper trimmer, scissors, stamps, ink and glue.. I used stamps from Technique Tuesday, I believe the set is calles Love Notes. I added some stickles for a little bling and put all the cut stamped images on pop dots. TFL!

Wreaths
I wanted to share a few non cricut, non silhouette projects. These are 2 fabric wreaths I have made recently. One of them is a really rich red with Hawaiian flowers on it, and the other is a very subtlr and pretty cherry blossom and sage green.

better late than never!
So this is a REALLY late post... I realized that I never shared my turkey treats I made for my son's class.. These little guys are so cute! I used the Stampin Up sweat treat cups and sweat centers stamp set for these. I also used a variety of punches for create the feathers. This is not my original idea, I had seen a few variations on the internet and I choose the one I liked the best. They were fairly easy to make and the kids lived them!
